Description
This early cast iron cigar cutter in great cast relief advertises Not Left 5¢ cigars, made by the G. W. Van Slyke & Horton Co. out of Albany, New York. The clock shows Waterbury Clock Co. on the front, the winding mechanism works and the second hand will tick, however the full operation of the clock is untested and it is possible the paper dial to the clock was replaced at one time. There are some areas of plating loss and some oxidation to the undercarriage, however the cutting mechanism works and the paint to the upper-front panel is original to the raised relief area. Proceeds from the sale of this lot are being donated by the consignor to the Fayette Regional Humane Society in Washington Court House OH. Condition: (Good). Item Dimensions: 13 - 1/4" x 7 - 1/4" x 7 - 1/4".
