The solid mahogany armchair padded and upholstered in calf leather with accents of brass studs, features a balloon shaped seat fitted below with a drawer, the tapered and slightly leaning back mounted at top with out-splayed arm rests, a hidden outward swiveling compartment tucked to the rear of each rest, back of seat with adjustable writing surface, the front with cabriole style legs and turned feet, rear with prong style support legs. English, circa 1740-1760. Condition; good with mild associated age wear, some fracturing to leather, patina to brass components. Approx. 33" H x 29.5" W x 22" D.Â
