Ben Owen I worked at Jugtown for about 4 decades and then in the 60's went on to open his own shop. His works, once one knows how to id them, are incredibly recognizable. After employing the circular Ben Owen Master Potter stamp, he tapped the block stamp the last maybe 1/2 dozen years of his life. One of his favorite and sought by many collectors are pots w/ his Egg Shell White (some call it Chinese White) glaze. This HUGE 10" by 8" vase is a fantastic example of a larger work by Ben.
