Large Wooden Indonesian Folk Art Banana Tree Sculpture. An incredibly detailed and life-like room size sculpture of a banana tree. Six main stalks make up the base, onto which each leaf is then assembled. It has two banana stalks with a flower and some leafs in more wilted stages which add to its realistic look. Hand carved and painted in excellent quality. Acquired in the 1980s, Indonesia. From the collection of Barbara Porter & Robert Wincuinas.
