BOHEMIAN CUT OVERLAY AND ENAMEL DECORATED PAIR OF MANTLE LUSTRES, opaque white to green with overall gilt decoration, each having Moorish top rims with spaced opal portraits of period men and women with cut fans in between, cylindrical stems with overall gilt scrolling decoration, circular base with cut prism cuts around the edge, each having large coffin-form prisms with optic cuts. Third quarter 19th century. 12 1/2" HOA, 5 1/2" D rims, 5 1/4" D feet.
Provenance: From the Jones estate, Lexington, VA.

Condition

One undamaged; other nearly undamaged with a single chip to the top rim; each having some wear to the decoration; each with some prisms having some flaking or small loses.
