Description
ENGLISH SILVER-PLATED ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a probably old Sheffield plate Neoclassical-style tea caddy with ovoid form having engraved decoration including bow-knots and foliate garlands, and a biscuit box by Barker Brothers of Birmingham having floral and foliate decoration, raised on four short feet with shell and leaf decoration. Biscuit box with marks to base, caddy unmarked. 19th century. 4 1/2" and 7 1/2" HOA.

Good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including losses to silver, nicks, dents, and/or worn spots to decoration; caddy with bending to lid, lacking components for lock.
