ENGLISH AND CANADIAN STERLING SILVER SEWING THIMBLES, LOT OF 13, comprising one with decorative top by Birks of Montreal, Canada, and 12 English thimbles including five with enameled decoration featuring a Queen Elizabeth Silver Jubilee souvenir, and one heavy example with gilt decoration depicting a scene from Shakespeare's Hamlet by Ludwig Redl of London having 1984 date mark. Canadian thimble marked "BIRKS" and "STERLING", remaining each with maker's mark and three hallmarks of a lion passant for sterling fineness, a city mark, and a date mark. Each retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card. 20th century. Various sizes.
