CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PORTRAIT OF A MUSICIAN, oil on panel, an interior scene with figure playing a lute-type instrument while sporting a wry smile, the table before him set with inkwell, glass, and stoneware jug, inscriptions verso. Housed in a period cove-molded frame with ebonized surface. 19th century. 7 3/4" x 4 1/2" sight, 13" x 10" OA.
