VAN BRIGGLE ART POTTERY ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a "Despondency" vase having "Moonglo" or white matte glaze featuring a figure enveloping the rim with left hand resting on top of head, and a molded leaf rim bowl with turquoise or "Ming blue" matte glaze. Each having incised logo mark to underside, one with "Van Briggle / Colo. Spgs. / G" and one having "Van BriggLe / CoLo. Spgs. / X". Van Briggle Pottery, Colorado Springs, CO. Second half 20th century. 16" HOA.
Catalogue Note: The "G" to the underside of the vase is for finishing artist, Gladys Baker, who was employed at Van Briggle beginning in the 1960's through the 1970's.
