ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising one example featuring a standing figure in a kilt, holding a wreath in left hand, and bird raised on right hand, and three examples with ovoid bases including one featuring a girl standing beside a cradle with baby, one depicting a waterfall on lower left side and a kilted figure holding a dog with a large jug resting on a rock ledge at right, and one example featuring a girl holding a basket with a fox on her right side. Unmarked. Second/third quarter 19th century. 12 5/8" HOA.

Condition
Girl with fox and figure with bird undamaged; remaining having minor imperfections including figure holding dog having minute flake to nose; girl with cradle having faint minor hairline to back of legs and minute flake to front of base. Some having manufacturing flaws including glazed over firing separations, as made.
