CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE FRAMED PLAQUES, LOT OF TWO, each having polychrome hand-painted scenes with multiple columns of characters, comprising one square form example featuring a figure gazing outside an open window and set in a carved cherry blossom frame, and one rectangular form example depicting three figures with a vase in courtyard setting having a carved foliate and scroll decorated frame. Not examined out of frames. Late 19th/early 20th century. 9 1/8" x 9 1/8" sight, 15" x 14 7/8" OA and 6 1/2" x 10" sight, 12 1/8" x 15 3/4" OA.

Undamaged, except figures with vase example having some glue-like residue to lower right corner and slight separation at one frame corner.
