Description
Carved Roman style statue composed of a variety of specimens of white, rouge, and green marbles. The statue depicts a female embodiment of either the Roman allegory for prosperity or a Priestess to the Roman Goddess of agriculture and grain, Ceres. She is holding a scythe in one hand while also caring a bushel of wheat. Her head is crowned of a wreath of wheat. Please note of wear consistent with age including patina to the marble that comes with age. The statue measures 21"W x 14"D x 65"H.
