Upholstered Louis XVI style open armchair on fluted legs with upholstered armrests, painted wood frame, and fluted trim on the arm supports.The rounded seat back is upholstered with an illustration of a white peacock framed by a floral wreath. The back of the seat also shows further decoration with painted ribbon and foliate motifs. Please note of wear consistent with age including patina loss to the wood frame, surface chips, and discoloration. The fabric also shows evidence of wear and staining as seen on the striped fabric seat and upholstered seat back. The chair measures 23"W x 24"D x 37"H x 19"SD x 20"SH.
