Great Victorian era gas lamp lighter. Lighter appears to be brass with copper and a carved wood handle. Has a wax coated wick and valve key. Manufactured by Thomas W. Houchin, patent applied for in 1865. It measures 30" long and is marked H NY on one side and what appears to be 300 on the other.
