Description
After Arnold Henry Bergier, American, 1914 to 2007, plaster sculpture named Moses with Tablets. Signed on back with the artist name and dated 1967. Arnold Henry Bergier was a sculptor and caricaturist who began his career as a singer in the Metropolitan Opera. He studied art in Paris in the late 1930s before serving in the Navy during World War II. He frequently completed sculpture commissions for synagogues, churches, and public figures such as John Dewey. Albert Einstein, Arturo Toscanini. Vintage Religious Sculpture Collectibles.
