About the Album: Ace Frehley is a 1978 solo album from Ace Frehley, the lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Kiss. It was one of four Kiss solo albums released by Casablanca Records on September 18, 1978. The album reached No. 26 on the US Billboard 200 album chart. It was certified platinum on October 2, 1978, and shipped over 1,000,000 copies. It is the highest-selling of the four Kiss solo albums from that era.

About the Artist: Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley born April 27, 1951, is an American musician best known as the original lead guitarist and co-founding member of the rock band Kiss. He invented the persona of The Spaceman (a.k.a. Space Ace) and played with the group from its inception in 1973 until his departure in 1982. After leaving Kiss, Frehley embarked on a solo career, which was put on hold when he rejoined Kiss in 1996 for a highly successful reunion tour.
