Description

Pair of English enamel curtain tiebacks, made either in Battersea, Bilston or South Staffordshire, circa late 18th Century.
These appear to be colorfully hand painted over a transfer print, depicting a young gentleman playing the flute for a young lady lounging against a tree in a billowing pink dress. Both are framed in gilt over brass tiebacks.
Excellent original condition, with some rubbing to the gilt. Each measures about 2" diameter.
