Description

DESCRIPTION: Two spinach jade urns, each featuring a foo dog (guardian lion) face and forepaws on either side carrying a banner and the urn proper. Each urn lid is crowned with a foo dog finial, and each foo dog on the side bears a movable ring beneath its chin. Pieces are each mounted on a reticulated wooden stand decorated with gilt meandering accents.
CIRCA: 1940s-1960s
ORIGIN: China
