Description
Two Chinee famille rose plates, dating from the Yongzheng period (1722-1735). Two plates with red, pink flower decoration, one plate is deeper than the other. Shallow plate retains two stickers on underside: "Antik Kina Chian Lung 1735-1795) fam. rose". Deeper plate has detailed red and pink design on inside and two sides underneath with light flower design, with sticker "Varia, Goteborg".
Shallow plate: D. 9" (22.8 cm), Deeper plate: D. 8 7/8" (22.5 cm)
Condition: good condition overall for age and use, with possible small scrape under rim on deep. Shallow plate has faint hairline glaze crack under rim.
