The band features 4 prongs to hold the stone in a lovely ornate basket setting.
The stone measures 9mm's, being a star ruby it has a 6-ray star known as "Asterism", which moves across the surface of the stone.
Ruby is the birthstone for July sometimes associated with Capricorns as well and is also used to celebrate a couple's 15th and 40th anniversaries.
