Mark basically never dates his pots, but there are many clues (or go to the source, the maker) to tell the approximate of his work. He will occasionally put the kiln firing # mark. A couple years ago he reached 100 and there was literally 1000 people (or so the story goes) waiting to attend this kiln opening. And this beautiful bowl is marked 50 and 1999 to acknowledge that milestone. The bowl is slip decorated in a loop style on the inside. And as with the vase in the auction by Mark, on the outer surface creates a wonderful light incised line darker 5 stepped series of lines w/ the salt glaze. Dimensions are 12.5 by 4.75.
