A mid 19th century Sterling Silver teapot and sugar bowl retailed by Gelston & Treadwell, New York. Footed octagonal forms with repousse floral decoration by Francis Cooper. Impressed maker's marks on both, teapot with London hallmarks and "S" year date indicating 1833. 45.90 troy ozs total weight. Monogrammed, both tarnished with some surface wear and dents, sugar bowl lacks lid. 6 3/4" to 9" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
