Description
**First Time At Auction**
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. An elegant glass jar of semi-translucent glass with aqua hues. The globular body sits upon a concave base with faint ribs encircling the exterior from the bottom up to the midsection. The long neck flares outward gracefully to a rolled rim. The exterior and interior are coated with weathering film, and beneath are areas of silvery iridescence that compliment the elegant form. A fine example of Roman glassware! Size: 2.25" W x 3.81" H (5.7 cm x 9.7 cm)
