Pre-Columbian, southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE; Valley of Mexico, Mixtec people, ca. 1200 to 1500 CE. A nice gathering of four attractive Pre-Columbian artifacts. First are two hand-carved stone beads of tubular forms with biconically drilled suspension holes, one carved from light green stone with dark green inclusions, and the other from dark, forest green stone with white inclusions. Second is a set of two copper tumis, one of a petite side with a thick butt end, and the other of a larger size with a broad, crescent-shaped blade. Size of largest (tumi): 2.875" L x 1.9" W (7.3 cm x 4.8 cm)
Provenance: private Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA collection; ex-Dr. David Harner collection, Springdale, Arkansas, USA, acquired between the 1950s and 1960s

Condition
All pieces have minor abrasions, with small nicks to stone beads, otherwise intact and very good. Smooth patina throughout.
