Rare Vintage Marcello Salvestrini Sterling Laminate Nude Woman Statue In Excellent Condition 12" Tall 13" at the Base 9" Wide 9Lbs > Signed By Artist also marked 925 with a pegasuses hallmark. Please see photos Marcello Salvestrini was born in San Gimignano, a small medieval town with a long artistic tradition in terracotta and woodcarving. Throughout his childhood Marcello could be found drawing and working with moldable materials, culminating in an honors degree from the Art Institute of Sienna. He also spent some time with the Fire Service, giving him a great respect and understanding of his surrounding environment. Marcello Salvestrini specializes in Art Deco and nude figures. In Italy he has created religious monuments in bronze and become nationally famous through exhibitions of his work. His collaboration with DEAR Studio has given him the opportunity to expand his talent and become famous worldwide.
