(2008) A rare Pop Art sculpture by Dave Bondi mashing up the two of the world's most recognizable cultural icons: Mickey Mouse and Mario. The resulting hybrid character is called, "Akashi," and this articulated vinyl figure was produced in a limited run of 250 pieces. The artist's signature and the year the piece was created, "2008," are molded into the sole of Akashi's left shoe. The original cardboard box packaging with molded plastic insert is included. Measuring 9" tall, the figure is in very good condition with only a strip of paint loss on the back of the left glove. The box measures 10"x6" and 4" deep and exhibits only minor wear.
