5.10.22-LOT –1166--The canvas is intact and appears free of any rips or tears, there are some very small areas of paint flaking, mainly through center canvas (trolly car and light) noticeable when held to the light or a light is shined from the back, I have tried to picture this for you and those areas are circled in blue, a UV examination shows some spotting, particularly at both lower corners and in the sky, otherwise I observe only some possible inpainting at dome and evidence of old varnish, the rear canvas is as pictured with some spotting and loss long the canvas edge, frame displays typical wear and loss to gilding particularly at protruding elements, this painting was authenticated by Nicole Verdier.
