1 US Army General Staff blue broadcloth frock coat w/ button groupings indicative of three star general, 1870-1880s, "Browning King & Co, New York" buttons stamped "Scoville Manufacturing Co, Waterbury", CH 40", W 38.5", SH-SH 19.5", L 34.5", (hem unfinished, tiny-1.5" holes/worn spots, velvet wear) good; 1 entirely handmade Virginia Military Institute Cadet cutaway coat w/ unusual notched collar, 1840s, back of button stamped "Evans & Co. Attleboro", CH 42", W 38.5", L 20"-38",(10.5" & 3.5" seam openings b/t collar & lining, 2 buttons at tails missing, 1" hole CB below collar, tiny-0.75" holes, tack cuffs undone) good.
