Grouping of 14 pieces of sponge decorated yellowware pottery including 3 nesting non-matching mixing bowl in various sponge colors - the largest 7 3/8" diameter x 3 1/8"H - all very good condition; a drip glazed water pitcher on footed base - slight chip to edge of spout else very good condition - measures 8 1/4"W x 5 1/4"H; 8 new matching small cups - 2 1/2"H x 3" diameter - most with some crazing and overall very good condition; and a slightly large cup with darker sponge decoration - very good condition, no damage; and a hen-on-nest bank - chip to one side of beak, else good condition. All 19th century. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
