Description
Three pieces of NY City stoneware including: 1) Small pantry or oyster jar with the impressed mark of "WESTERFIELD & JOHNSTON / 853 6TH AVE. NY" - glazing losses on interior rim, and a surface hairline on left side - 6 1/2"H x 5 1/4"W; 2) A jug with stenciled cobalt blue letters "PARK & TILFORD / NEW YORK", probably 1 gallon - some staining, otherwise good condition; 3) A 3 gallon crock decorated with a cobalt blue flower with the impressed mark of "A.E. SMITH & SONS MANUFACTURERS / 38 PECK SLIP, N.Y." - missing left ear, light staining, otherwise good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
