An ancient Native American "Mound Builder" pot with worn design under the flared rim and having ears for holding a handle- constructed with red clay with some chips around the top rim, else good condition. Measures 4 1/2"W x 3 1/2"H. Hess Galleries, Otega NY tag attached and note indicates it was found in the Ohio River Valley Region 900-1100AD. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
