Grouping of 11 beaded Native American whimsies including a heart shaped pin cushion, canoe shaped purse with losses, 2 wall pockets in good condition - the largest measures 6 1/2"H x 4"W, 2 small beaded purses in very good condition, a hand sewn boot form wall hanging whimsy decorated with sequins and colorful flowers - very good condition, a strawberry form pincushion - very good condition, a tiny pillow shaped pin cushion with losses to fringe, a heart shaped whimsy pin cushion dated 1915 - good condition - measures 5 1/2"H x 5 1/2", and a picture frame titled in beads "KATERI TEKAKWITHA" (She was the first Catholic Native American saint and canonized in 2012 - Algonquin/Mohawk - informally known as Lily of the Mohawks (1656 – 1680) ) - the frame holds a printed image of Kateri - the crest of the frame with a beaded cross and the base dated 1931 in beadwork- some losses to the beaded loops at base otherwise good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
