Description
An Empire period floor standing adjustable over bed serving table in walnut, having a turned column mounted on shaped base with wheels - the top server can be adjusted by lifting the tray to the desirable height and placing a dowel into the column to hold it in place (see photo). The dowel is missing, loss to top edge of the circular column, else good condition. Circa 1850-60. Measures 36"L x 12 1/2"W x 25 1/2"H. The top can be removed for easier shipment. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
