Two Chinese porcelains including: The first, a blue and white Canton ginger jar with footed base - measures 6 3/4" diameter x 6 1/2"W x 6 1/2"H - the top with repairs and chip - the jar in very good condition; the second, a blue and white tea pot with hand painted gold highlights including heart decorations on spout, and having a double twisted handled with floral and berry terminals, late 18th to early 19th century - the lid is a tin make-do replacement, likely made by Jerry Soldner who was an accomplished tinsmith, otherwise very good condition. Provenance: From the Doris and Jerry Soldner collection, Lake Carmel NY (formally of Kingston NY).
