A Jun jar with handles, probably Jin Dynasty (12th - early 13th century)
Pot with evenly rounded belly on a stand ring. Almost vertical, short mouth. Two opposite small ribbon-shaped handles, at the bottom with an elongated triangular projection. Beige-grey Jun glaze on the outside and inside with sienna-coloured sprinkles on the mouth and rims of the handles. Minimal signs of use commensurate with age, intact. Height 12.5 cm, diameter 17 cm.
Provenance: Important Swiss private collection.
