Description
In the mid-1970's Stevie Ray Vaughan moved from his home town Dallas to Austin Texas. It was here that he formed the band the Cobras who he played with until 1977. Then he blew up to become one of the greatest blues guitarists of our time. The Cobras continued on including this show two years later at the Soap Creek Saloon.
Soap Creek Saloon was a small venue in Austin Texas which attracted much of the local hippies and cowboys to the music scene there which was already a hot spot due to other area venues like Armadillo World Headquarters. Often the same artists would design posters for both venues.
