Ukraine,20th Century
Includes a depiction of a meadow with a forest full of trees with thin trunks by Ivan Gubski, and a depiction of an autumnal birch forest by Vadim Korobov. Gubski studied at the Kharkov Art Institute from 1947-53, and became part of the Union of Artists in 1953. Korobov graduated from Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad), under A. Filbert. His works have been presented at regional, republican, and all-Union exhibitions in Moscow, Kiev, and Lugansk. He also has several international exhibitions in Hungary and Bulgaria. Largest board 19 1/2" x 26 1/4" Largest frame 22 1/8" x 29 1/4"

A portion of the proceeds from this auction lot will benefit well known Ukrainian art expert, Masha Titovia of Kiev Art, a well known gallery in Ukraine’s capital city which has been suffering under the Russian attack on Ukraine.

Each painting with areas of very minor paint chips, frames with minor surface wear, otherwise good condition.
