Titled "The Marriage of the Adriatic" after Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851), an exceptionally well-done painting in the manner of the artist most likely created by a student or very close follower. When researching this work, no painting appears in auction records or public collections with the same image or title. A similar work titled "The Grand Canal: Scene - a Street in Venice" can be found on view at the Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, San Francisco, California.

Canvas has been cut and laid down on a board in what appears to be during the early 1900's, painting would benefit from a cleaning, otherwise good condition.
