Naturalistic depiction of a cougar perched atop a boulder baring it's fangs. Boulton studied at the National Academy of Design under Herman Atkins MacNeil. Boulton was a member of Allied Artists of America, Hudson River Valley Association, and the Salmagundi Club.
Bronze,Approx. 9" t x 9 3/8" w x 6" d.
Signed "J. Boulton" with "Dama No.316" on base.
From the collection of a North Scituate, Rhode Island estate.
