after JOHN JAMES AUDUBON (American 1785-1851) TWO PORTFOLIOS OF PRINTS, "The Birds of America, Leipzig Edition," 1972-1973, comprising two double elephant portfolios, each portfolio with twenty collotype lithographs on wove paper, volume I copyrighted 1972, volume II copyrighted 1973, each volume numbered 896 from a stated edition of 1000, each volume signed by the director of Ariel Press, London; each volume overall: 39'' x 27''.
Condition
The cover boards for each volume show some signs of wear with some stains, scuffs, and minor damage to the binding. The pages and individual plates show no visible signs of damage.
