Description
This civil war cane is c.1860, from the Battle of Gettysburg. Cane made after the Civil War from wood from the Gettysburg battle. The shaft has a pyrography design which is very rare. It has a doctors pomander handle with a sponge inside. The handle screws off and there are holes in the top so you could put vinegar inside and hold the cane up to your nose to help with the smell when around sick people and also help so the doctor didn't get sick. Condition: Dimensions: 36" Long.
