Nine Philadelphia Coin Silver Spoons
including: (4) place spoons with the mark of Bennett & Caldwell, active 1843-1848, all with matching script monogram (7 1/8 in.); (5) tablespoons with mark of Abijah B. Warden, active 1842-1867, all with matching script monogram (9 in.).

Bennet & Caldwell was a silversmith partnership between James M. Bennett and James Emmett Caldwell. In 1848, Bennett left the firm and the business would become J.E. Caldwell & Co., the well known jeweler and retailer still active in Philadelphia today.
