INDEPENDENT ORDER OF ODD FELLOWS INTEREST: AN EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER JEWEL/PLAQUE, by Isaac Simmons, Sheffield 1839, of shaped form, with engraved foliate scrolls and floral decoration, to a carved floral border, enclosing a panel, depicting figures and various shields, inscribed 'Presented to P. G. Jno Houghton / by the Officers & Brothers of the Haven of Rest Lodge No. 937. / as a Testimonial of Respect for his Valuable Services / to the same 5. May 1840.', the reverse later inscribed 'Presented to / Warrington District I.O.O.F. (Manchester Unity)...' and dated 1943. 12.5cm by 9.5cm, 4.6 troy ounces

Marks are clear and well struck. Minor scratches to the back but generally in very good condition.
