These amusing illustrations of a pharaoh and female pharaoh (or perhaps Cleopatra) almost certainly dates to 1976, when the traveling blockbuster exhibition "King Tut" appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, touching off a fad for all things related to Tut.
