Bit of spine stress, 1/4" nick at bottom spine, subscription crease, crease along top edge of front cover with matching sun shadow to pages, sun shadows to top and open edges of back cover, cover feels somewhat rough and pageblock is slightly wavy indicating moisture wear, 1/2" tear and 1/2" x 3mm chip to back cover. Cream to off-white pages. Clean and press to 4.0? Cover: Unknown. Art: No GCD credits, but there's art by Ed Goldfarb, Ross Andru, and probably Sal Trapani. Overstreet: "Electrocution cover." GPAnalysis: No reported sales in this grade. A 2.0 sold for $88 in 2019, and a 4.5 sold for $600 in March 2022.

Overstreet says FIGHT AGAINST CRIME veers into EC territory starting with issue #9 ("No. 9-21 contain violent, gruesome stories with blood, dismemberment, decapitation, EC-style plot twists and several EC swipes"), but pre-Code savant George Suarez says the title's aping of EC starts in earnest with ish #12. This ish's cover recalls the electric chair cover of Shock SuspenStories #1, while Suarez sees similar inspiration behind this mag's story titles: "Issue #14 is very reminiscent of CRIME SUSPENSE: the story titles are now short and to the point: 'Death Trap,' 'Greed,' and 'Murder!' — in cold, stark block letters." — Tales To Terrible To Tell #5.
