Publisher:Fiction House [Indicia: Real Adventures Publishing Co., Inc.]
Date Published: October, 1952
Description:
VG+ (4.5). Touch of spine stress, bottom spine bumped, 3/4" tear near top right corner of front cover with small tape repair to inside cover, tiny chip to bottom right edge of front cover, fine crease mark to bottom right corner of front cover, small chip to bottom corner of back cover, 1/2" tear to bottom edge of back cover, foxing and toning to back cover edges, penciled distributor's mark ("9/2 A") to back cover. Cover: Uncredited by GCD, but probably drawn in part or in full by Maurice Whitman (the lady's face isn't spot-on for Whitman, but the skeletal spectre is pure Whitman). Art: Bob Webb, Murphy Anderson, uncredited others. GPAnalysis: A 4.5 sold for $300 in November 2018.
Man murders girlfriend for flirting with an Englishman, then dresses like a clown, sees a spectre, goes mad, and gets shanked by his pals — typical Iger Shop lunacy.
