Folio,290x203 mm. Full stiff vellum binding of the XVIIIth century, gilt title on spine, marbled edges. Red and black title page with printer’s device. On verso oval portraits, over 900 woodcut plants and other woodcut plant illustrations on two columns on the last 10 pages. Sign of wear, some spotting and occasional browning, overall good copy.
Rare and sought after edition of this work that had a lot of success and was reprinted several times during the seventeenth century.
