Maurice Mahul (French 1879–1929), printed by Imprimerie Chaix (French 1845-1965), Lorilleux et Cie (French 1818-1989) inks, "Nouveau Circus", Black African French ephemera poster depicting a police officer with club striking a male figure, signed and dated in plate to lower left, publisher to lower left margin, framed. Sight approx. h. 51.75", w. 38.5"; Overall h. 53.25", w. 40".
Condition
Previously folded, toning, some minor foxing, frame is separating at lower right corner with acrylic panel loose at top edge, not examined out of frame.
