Description
A three group of mainly coin silver serveware comprising: a Samuel Kirk and Son Company, marks used circa 1835-1843, sterling silver "Repousse" (pattern introduced 1828) oval covered vegetable (h. 5.75", w. 11.5", d. 7.5"), tripod mustard pot (h. 3.5", dia. 3"), and a similar oval armorial silverplate covered vegetable (h. 4", w. 11.5", d. 8.25"), all marked appropriately with the coin silver having an :11 OZ" mark, the silverplate server apparently unmarked. Total approx. weight of the coin silver pieces of, 44.29 ozt. Provenance: From the historic Johnston-Felton-Hay House in Macon, GA; by descent.
Condition
Coin silver server is monogrammed, silverplate server is missing the handle with some plating loss to interior, surface scratches consistent with domestic use.
