Pair Monumental Chinese cloisonne horses, each with bright enamels depicting dragons amidst auspicious cloud forms on a turquoise ground, accented with elaborate tack including saddles and saddle blankets and harnesses in gilt metal with painted and inset stone jewels, having no apparent disnature. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Veronica Holmes, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx: h. 63", l. 75", d. 22".

Overall both pieces are very good. Horse 1- has (2) 1/4" spots of corrosion one on its ear and one on its mane; and one stirrup is not attached and it looks as if the attachment mechanism is missing. Horse 2-- Tape residue on 'saddle blanket" corrosion on the back left hoof. Not distracting. Enamel and stone are intact and lovely on both pieces.
